LinkUp Technologies was founded in 1980 and has developed critical applications to for a variety of major retail chains including department stores, specialty stores, and both full service and quick service restaurants.
From 1992-2001 we provided consulting, software development, and project management to Compris Technologies, a major supplier of POS software for tier-1 restaurant chains. From this experience we discovered there was a need to develop a replacement for the popular, but aging, T.A.C.O. back-office developed by YUM! Brands, Inc. In 1999 we teamed up with a Taco Bell chain capable and willing to serve as a development partner and “incubator” for our new software. We immediately began work on the replacement for T.A.C.O and a number of related systems.
